The nurse practitioner in my doctors practice referred me to pain management after a full back MRI without explaining anything about what was on the MRI except that I might have a couple of bulging discs. Dr. Kulkarni took the time to explain how serious the issue really was with my back and I really appreciated that.
This doctor will spend about 3min with you and not listen to anything you say. I am not sure he even reads the past notes from other physicians and with contradict everything that other physicians have stated.
I was able to address all of my orthopedic issues with both Dr Kulkarni and the nurse and came home with my satisfied answers

First time I met Dr Karl was just before a hip injection procedure. He was friendly, knowledgeable and told me exactly what to expect during the procedure and after. The procedure was not scary, because he told me what I would feel just before I felt it. I am so thankful for the pain relief!
What a great person. He managed my pain for a number of years until I moved out of state. The only problem I had was trying to find someone like him in another state.
