Avoid at any cost dealing with DecorPlanet Horrible customer service that is putting in a lot of effort in proving you are wrong than to solve a problem! Their system has placed a duplicate order, only one confirmation was ever sent out, but they charged me $750 shipping fee to send it back to sender and called me several times to yell at me that it's my fault. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! I was lured in by a price on a bathroom exhaust fan that was $40 less than I could get it for anywhere else. I placed the order on December 9th, and they charged my credit card immediately. I kept checking the DecorPlanet.com, and my order status was permanently marked as "processing." After two weeks of not getting any notice that the exhaust fan had been shipped, I contacted their customer service and was assured that I would get an email updating me on the status of my order. Purchased an $1100.00 vanity set from DecorPlanet.com and absolutely no issues with delivery schedule. Vanity arrived slightly chipped and faucet was defective (leaking). Contacted Customer Support to inform and to rectify the issue. Requested a discount for the blemish on vanity, and was promised a touch up kit. Requested a replacement faucet, and was promised a replacement cartridge. Received cartridge and after swapping, faucet still leaks. No touch up kit sent. I ordered a shower door April 26th. Next day got email saying it wouldn't ship until May 5th. May 5th I called them and they said it was on back order until July. Told them to cancel my order. As of today, the refund still has not hit my bank. I called them again. Hung up on once. Final got a rep on the line. They never canceled the order the first time. If it is not there in a week, I'm calling the fraud department at the bank to let them handle it. Never will I do business with them again.

I ordered a rather expensive double wide illuminated medicine cabinet. When I opened the box to install the product I found that 2 parts were missing or broken (a rubber door bumper and a plastic cabinet corner). I've had to request replacements now for several months. On 3 occasions the incorrect parts were sent. In the past month Decor Planet has become non-responsive. I never write reviews. EVER, but this was just ridiculous. Received a product that did not fit on the wall. Was not able to return, as we didn't have the box. Stayed on the line for a customer service agent for 30 minutes only to be sent to voicemail. Stayed on the online chat for an HOUR AND A HALF for a representative. Funny thing was at exactly 12:01, someone finally decided to get on the chat. Right after lunch..... STAY AWAY FROM DecorPlanet. What a joke! Would give -10 if could.

We had several defective as well as missing items (two sinks) from our order with DecorPlanet.com. We placed the order on April 16th online. The order was supposed to be shipped on May 14th. The item didn't get shipped until May 28th. When the vanity arrived we noticed that the counter tops are scratched and there are dents on the sides as well as the surface. We went through hell and back trying to get refunded, and end the end, with absolutely no resolution. YES. I threw away $500 because they refused to accommodate a return. Long story short, the sales rep. convinced my wife that she will need a "bath skirt" to go along with the 1,000 special sized tub that we had to buy from them because of the space we were putting it in wasn't a standard size. The guy ASSURED her that she can return if need be. Low and behold, we get the tub and skirt in and it is the cheapest looking thing ... read more
