UPDATE: They have not responded to messages to find a resolution. Ignored all my messages. Now the seem to be "temporarily closed" after the bad review. SCAM. ----------------------------------- I just wanted my chip repaired and nothing more. Was quoted around $95 just for the chip but it’s convenient so why not and it only takes 15 mins. I get the invoice after I leave and the chip repair was $65 and they charged me an extra $40 for a basic repair plan that AUTO Renews yearly. Tech told me I need to submit my own claim with ICBC since they cannot guarantee it will be covered by my comprehensive insurance. I was assured that it wouldn't be a problem and past customers have gone through the claim process successfully. However, it turns out they are not an ICBC-recognized windshield repair shop. ICBC does not even have a mechanism for filing a claim for a rock chip repair from non-accredited shops such as Deco. Repair looks fine but I'm $100 out of pocket for something that's covered 100% by ICBC.
