Great Job!! – My wife and I are very, very happy with the deck we had built by DeckworX. It was built over a steep hilside and was fairly complex, enough so that of the five companies that came to look at the job, three of them never called back and a fourth sent a bid about a month after the job was done and the price was almost twice what we paid DeckworX. Deck – Built deck
AVOID! – This guy shows up and has nice pictures and talks a good game - then sends someone else to actually do the work and never shows up again to inspect or check in (until you call to complain). Deck is wobbly, wood is warped, not to code, basically a total nightmare. If you want a safe, good looking deck I would have someone else do it - don't always go for the cheapest quote as we did - and now are spending more to have fixed correctly.
Fooled – We recently had a deck built around our pool by Deckworx. The pictures the owner brought to show us were great and we thought our deck would look the same. Boy, were we fooled! The people that he sent to do the deck had no idea what they were doing and now we have rickety steps and uneven pieces of wood everywhere not to mention all of the nails sticking out everywhere. I am very disappointed and would not recommend this company to anyone!
