I tried to get a quote for a deck from Josh. I provided a design and photo that another contractor had given me. He told me that this design drawing was poor in quality. I told him the dimensions and he told me $20k, where as 2 other contractors came in at $10k and $13k. It was one of the rudest emails I have gotten. I can tell that he did not want my business, and he didn’t even have the decency to call me for further information. I get that Covid is going around, but you can still be nice. Deckmasters put up a pergola for us a few weeks ago. We love it! They were very helpful in making sure the pergola itself did not block the view out of our patio door which was our main concern. It was time to replace our 3 wood decks after 28 years. We chose Deckmasters after meeting with Josh, who put together a great design, provided education about their products, and worked with us to keep it within our budget. The builders are craftsmen, experienced, detailed, hard-working. The results are awesome. The decks add appeal and aesthetic and monetary value to our home.
