We eat at Deckhands about once a month! Great fresh and cooked oysters, great boudin, and great Tom yum soup! It's crawfish season!!! Great boil at deckhands! We waited 40 minutes for a seat last night and it was well worth it!
Very tasty combination of traditional Cajun & Thai cuisine. Don't let the casual (pub-ish) atmosphere deter you from sampling the variety of fresh seafood dishes. The oysters on the half shell were plump and briny. The Mussels Vin Blanc had just the right amount of spice. We will definitely be back for more.
I never write reviews. This was just awesome.
The only good food we had was the oysters on the half shell and the beer. Garlic shrimp was overwhelming, tilapia dish looked like vomit, po boy was small. Nothing special, won't be back.
Awesome menu...try the catfish :) Doesn't matter how it's cooked!
