Deckhand was packed on a Friday night. Friendly servers, bar staff and busboys. Everyone was having a good time, even while standing and waiting for a table. Busy, relatively loud, great 80’s music and fun place to have dinner. Family friendly, but a diverse group of 20-60 somethings were there for our visit. Great date night location. Great food with an amazing Asian twist! Everything on the menu is worth a try!
I went there for the first time. We were seated right away and the server cane over right quickly. We just made it in time for the lunch special. I ordered fried catfish. It came with a small bowl of gumbo. Very tasty, but I'm not a Cajun. Service was very good. The server even brought me fresh fries after I mistakenly put hot sauce instead of ketchup on them. Kept our tea glasses topped up. I'll be back.
