My CKD cat experienced a serious adverse reaction (vomiting, abdominal pain, fever) after taking EICOSA 3FF Omega 3 Snipcaps. I immediately reported the case to Dechra on May 16. They acknowledged receipt and promised to follow up with the relevant team-yet no further response ever came. Their Atopivet collars for cats contain lavender fragrance and their Atopivet skin drops contain Linaloon which is the essential oil of lavender (the most toxic form). I called a rep to discuss this and was told they won’t discuss it because it is “a proprietary secret”. I’m not sure how that is legal, exactly, but it doesn’t surprise me in this country.
