It's such a beautiful location. The bridge is intriguing and majestic. Plenty of areas to rest if needed as well as breathtaking views from the top! An absolute must see!!

Between the views and how serene the park is you just tune out the jet noise which for me is just a bonus. If you are a tide pool watcher Rosario beach is excellent. The park is a superb place to take photos as well. As a Washington native it is a great place to show off the beautiful west side of the state without getting too far in to the woods and away from civilization.

We always enjoy going here as a family. But a few months back my husband and I shot a Inspired wedding here and it turned out absolutely beautiful and was featured/published. It definitely has all of the best of the PNW in one spot here. We will be back as a family and for our Heather Mayer Photographers business.

Deception Pass Park has been a favorite place of mine since I first discovered it nearly twenty years ago. Miles of trails explore beautiful forests, coast line and Cranberry Lake. I visit parks to see and photograph wildlife, and last week Deception Pass did not disappoint. Bald eagles, great blue herons, trumpeter swans, varied thrushes, Douglas squirrels, hooded and common mergansers, chestnut-backed chickadees, downy woodpeckers and many more species were present. Highly recommended for hiking and birding.

The park was amazing and beautiful. There were lots of hiking trails of a variety of levels. We stayed in one of the cabins, it was very well kept and cozy. Plenty of space, and we definitely appreciated the heating in the dead of winter. :)
