Awesome place. Can't wait to camp here. ..................................................
Camped in the park in site 91 in the lower loop. Nice pull through spot with electric and water and close to the bathrooms. Our 17 foot trailer and SUV fit with room to spare. We only heard the jets a couple of times. This park offers many hiking trails and the beaches are so beautiful. The north beach was less windy and had a nice view of the bridge. Note: the multi use trails may not be suitable for biking families.
We spent most of our time on Cornet Beach. Found it a great spot for beach combing and views of the bridge. We were the only ones on the beach while the bridge was very congested with people and cars.
Quite and clean park ! Loved it Recommend for hiking and enjoying the beach !
Beautiful park but as with most Washington state parks entrance fees are expensive :-(.
This is very much the OFF SEASON for visiting the park..4 of the 5 sections were closed (only one Campground) was open. Water was off for the Winter. They still charged full price. The people was nice, but again, nothing was open to amount to anything. They only accepted CASH or CHECK at the self check in at the park. Its strange that a large institution such as the Washington State Park Network would not have Debit/Credit Card machines. IT NEEDS TO BE NOTED...!
