I waited for 45 minutes just to get lab work done. I finally ask for my lab work back so I can just go somewhere else. Then 5 minutes after I ask for my lab work back the nurse comes out to draw my blood finally. She didn't know that I was in the waiting room for 50 minutes because their printer was out of ink. She didn't know i was in the waiting room at all. Totally unprofessional and a completely avoidable experience!

I couldn’t of had a better stay there. The nurses and techs were wonderful, answered all my questions and were very friendly. My doctor was very concerned with how I was feeling and not rushing to get me out of there. ALMH is a great hospital for what they are equipped to do. They make your stay welcoming and not like you are their job and just want to get in the room and get stuff done. Kudos to the men and women that work there!

Had a miserable time in the ER last night. An ambulance took my mother to the ER because her BP skyrocketed. Once there she was just put out in the waiting room to sit for 5 hrs before ever seeing a doctor. People were throwing up, barf bags just thrown in the open trash can. The nurse doing vitals in the waiting room didn't sanitize the thermometer or BP cuff between patients, thus spreading germs throughout the room. We all expect to be down with the flu very soon. Ugh.
