It started off fine. The pictures on the website are staff and not actual patients. The buffet they show is false. Lousy food and run out of food. If you like sandwiches with one piece of meat and cheese then it’s the place for you. The rooms don’t look like that. You share a bathroom with three other people. The shared bathroom only has a bathtub to bathe in. Only one shower room for everyone and it’s moldy and people poop in the shower. Decatur Manor has been really great! Staff are attentive to needs, and it is a calm environment (for the most part) to live in. Food is decent, and there are activity outings to go on that are fun! ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Stealing money from my son’s social security disability account for more than 3 months even after he was getting discharged from this facility. This facility doesn’t care about their patient’s care or family concerns than taking huge money from patients as rent. Their staff are so rude. I will never recommend this nursing facility for anyone to reside 👎👎👎👎👎
