Gosh, where do I start? She is brilliant. The only words I can think of are superlatives because she has made such a lasting impact. She cares so much. I worked with her in high school, from 2011-2014 and i miss her every single day. Her words echo in my head constantly. People with eating disorders need knowledgeable, competent, well trained, and KIND clinicians. Dr Safer exceeds it all. She not only helped me but also my family with managing. I miss you terribly dr safer.

She's warm, curious, and puts in the work to help you meet your goals. Debra is especially good at brainstorming solutions and helping you put them into practice, and adjusting on the basis of your feedback. I think she's brilliant, and I cannot thank her enough for how much she's helped me over the past few years.

I saw Dr. Safer many times over many years, after I experienced multiple traumatic situations. She is incredibly competent and caring. She is someone I could count on during my darkest days. I highly recommend Dr. Safer.

Agree with review from Sunnyvale. Dr. Safer appears sincere in her efforts to help but is not very skilled or good with complex situations.
