We have been camping at the Holland State Park for years and driven by deBoer's many many times... Spotted it this years stopped and OMG what a treat..the Bakery is devine, and the food is spectacular..Can't wait to return Do not pass this fine establishment up folk's
I would give this restaurant a 10 out of 5 stars. Never have I had such a wonderful breakfast. There were 6 of us, all with a different dish, and not a soul had any complaints. Our server (Laura) was the sweetest gal we ever met. GREAT service. Food was hot, never was a coffee cup empty, and she just couldn't do enough for us. Even thanked us for coming to Michigan for a holiday weekend. One of the owners came to the table at our insistence, and he could not have been more humble or gracious. JD and the team always do a great job. We went the past 2 days and the meals are always on point.
My husband and I stopped here on our way home from Chicago, what an amazing find! The staff was very efficient and friendly, but the breakfast was the true star. Outstanding! We will definitely stop in again.
Food is unique and delicious every time! It is usually quite busy, but worth the wait! Crab cake Benedict is a must try!
The food was amazing. Best hollandaise sauce that I've had. The staff was wonderful our server, Alec, was upbeat and friendly, he was also very helpful when we asked about the menu. It was defiantly worth the wait and we will be back.
IMO, you have to be absolutely perfect-flawless to get 5 stars. So they get 4 because of 1 minor slip. The most lovely woman behind the counter suggested I order breakfast To-Go and eat at the park, that is instead of waiting an hour for a seat. She gets 6 out of 5 stars for that! It was PERFECT! But the young gent waiting on us missed a step. Our To-Go food sat under the heat lamp for 10 min. (not horrible, but not an exaggeration either).
