I have been more than pleased with my experience with Debartolo Realty. I started investing in rental properties in the Grand Rapids area a few years ago and was very lucky to team up with Linda as my agent. Their team is always more than happy to work very hard to find you the perfect house. I would trust them over any other broker in the area due to their amazing experience with foreclosures and the market in GR. Very poor business practices. They have several listing which are "active", but have already been sold. Will waste your time to come in and attempt to sell you other properties that look nothing like what you were looking at (bait and switch?). It is hard enough lookiing for properties without the trouble of sorting through which properties are not available and have not been for several months.
In regards to the previous quote on this wall, I have been doing business with Debartolo Realty and I was once a real estate agent so I know how the business goes. What many people don't realize is foreclosed properties go on and off the market so fast and many times the agent only makes a few hundred bucks on the property. Stay away from this company. Get help from someone else if you can. They are not interested to work with potential buyers. They are lying to the customers. Called them for the first time as they were listing agent and they promised to call me back if the house I'm interested in will be back on market. The house went back on market and I called them back- they said the house is sold, but another realtor showed it to us and the house didn't have any offers at the time.
