An update to my previous post re: Olguin. 1. I was given an antibiotic to which I am allergic. I told Olguin this and it's in my medical records all over Chicago. 2. I suffered an allergic reaction (see pics). I consulted with a dermatologist at NM who confirmed the allergy but there was little that could be done. 3. I had a complicated tooth extraction with Dr. Olguin, with a complicated and painful recovery, and zero compassion from him for the weeks of suffering I experienced through the process. His dismissive and defensive response made it an even more terrible experience. Edited to add based on the practice response: Frustrating response with falsehoods. I can recomend Dr Olguin and his staff and assistant Yari extrmely highly! After an unfortunate situation with a severly cracked tooth Dr Olguin and his team explained the options clearly and performed an extraction with the utmost care and consideration. I also found the entire process of billing and insurance coverage and appointment followup to be very complete and transparent.
Dr. Olguin was great, I didn't feel no pain,, He even called me later that night to check on me,,friendly staff, The office was super clean. Definitely will return.
