Mom had 2 knees replaced by Dr. Dearborn (one after the other) and he was thorough, knowledgeable, and compassionate. He took the time to explain things to my mom to reassure her of her situation as well as just before surgery. He provided the best bedside manner of any surgeon, way beyond my expectations.

I had a total hip replacement 19 years ago by Dr. Dearborn, went in and had it x rayed the other day , it still is as good as the day it was replaced, now I’m looking to have my knee replaced by Dr. Dearborn

Some of my emails and phone calls post-op were not returned in a timely manner, or at all. I was told this was very unusual for the practice but I found it frustrating. Dr. D is certainly a skilled and knowledgeable surgeon and his practice strives to do an excellent job in all respects.

I am 73 years old and had a total hip replacement 6 months ago. I am still having pain which is uncomfortable and limits my activity. I was told by Dr. Deerborn that I was an “outlier” and the PA I see for follow ups has no explanation or prognosis. They haven’t returned three emails and one phone call. My strength, endurance and flexibility have decreased significantly from the lack of activity for six months, I feel like I’ve aged 5 years.
