Wouldn't listen A terrible experience! I was seeing another doctor at this practice. Hutchins was my on-call doctor. She did not believe me that my water had broken. As a result she attempted to break my water manually. This caused my daughter, whose head was serving as a cork, to come out with scratches on her skull from the amnio hook. Also, when she was delivered, all of the water followed and she swallowed it, causing her initial apgar score to be low. She had TLC-Tender, Love and Care touch I first saw Dr. Hutchins during my IUI and she is so kind and tender to me that I didn't even noticed that's IUI is done. IUI is teribble experience for me with other Dr. but with Dr. Hutchins tender hand and her sympathetic words, I feel great and a it's great experience with her.

No VBAC with her When I was pregnant with my second child, Dr Cada in Hutchins practice was open to me having a VBAC. Her other partners were as well. THe only doctor who was not willing to allow me to VBAC was Dr Hutchins, and she had no real reason for it. I was very disappointed in this standard of care.

A good and kind OB I saw Dr. Hutchins through most of my pregnancy. She was very kind and seemed to really care. After my unwanted c/s she came to see me in the hospital and actually made a comment that it "was not the way we wanted this to happen". It seemed as though she was sympathetic to my devastation. She also said she had had c/s so I imagine she understood the pain that I was in. I'd go back to her but only if she was in a practice with doctors who support VBAC.
