I saw him two times. One from more than 15 years ago. He made an x-rays for me which was not clear enough to be used by the next doctor I saw and the insurance company paid him already and did not want to cover another one. He refused to return the payment. About two years ago I saw him for a consultation and he did something on my teeth on the left side with his tools and the next day that side of my face started to have the swollen/pain feeling. The feeling is less serious now but it's still there with me.

I have been seeing Dr. Tan for my dental service for 16 years now. I am so grateful of receiving professional service from him. In the past year, I also had a dental implant. That was a smooth and comfortable experience. Thank you, Dr. Tan.
After my pregnancy, I had two teeth pulled out from Dr. Tan. Before starting the procedure, Dr. Tan carefully explained the process and gave me options to choose from. He was extremely patient and meticulous in his work so I felt comfortable during the treatment. On top of that, the staff at Sc Dental Center were all very welcoming and nice which made my visit worthwhile and definitely validated my decision to choose Dr. Tan. Without a doubt, I will continue to go back if I need any dental help in the future.
I have been receiving the high quality services of Dr. Tan for several years now and have always been satisfied. The staff are always friendly and professional, and make an effort to ensure my comfort. Twice a year they do the regular cleaning and checkup. I have had a few fillings, plus one crown which feels just like a normal tooth. I would happily recommend the services of this office to everyone.
I was uncomfortable to smile for the past years. Because I had root canals and crowns on my front four teeth. The crown color was not nature and you can see the black line on top. After some research and friend referral , I had them all replaced by Dr.Tan. I couldn't believe it. I feel I am smiling with my own teeth and feel so nature now. I think it was the best investment I did.
I've been a patient of Dr. Tan for 7+ years now. I've done deep cleaning, fillings, and regular cleaning there. Before Dr. Tan, I tried two other dentists in the area in less than 2 years. Dr. Tan is extremely good at what he does. He is a skillful dentist with lots of patience. He certainly treats his patients like royalty. His staff is courteous and very helpful. I highly recommend Dr. Tan to others!
I never saw such bad service. I make an appointment and arrived on time. And he said he has a patient to handle and ask me waiting at least 40 minutes or make another appointment. After making another appointment, I go home and listent his leaving messages on call to cancel that appointment.
I had quite unpleasent experiences with Dr. Dean Tan's dental office. First, their charge is high. After finishing half of the service, we decided not to come to the dental office again, then they called us and waived quite a big portion of the fee -- half of the money we need to get out of our pocket. I am not saying it is bad of them to waive the fee, but it made me wonder what the reasonable amount is they should charge at the first place.
