My husband saw Dr. Vayser for 5 months on a weekly basis to treat a wound. He should have referred us out after 1-2 months of the wound not healing. Instead only upon my insistence to biopsy, he did the biopsy at month 5. The wound had quadrupled in size by that time. Immediately sent to MOHS surgeon. When I asked him if this could be termonal - he actually smirked laughed at me and didn’t answer me.
Classic tale of Dr Jeckel and Mr. Hyde. In the beginning Dr. Vayser was the kind of doctor we all seek...engaging, personable and seemingly caring but as the doctor/patient relationship progressed, he became frustrated, irritable and untrusting when my wound wasn't healing and actually accused me of sabotaging my own care. How weird is that?? Also he is a poor listener as he'll ask you a personal question and then not have the courtesy to stay mentally engaged by listening to your answer!
