Our furnace died on Sunday. First, Ryan braved the terrible snow storm and terrible driving conditions, not once but twice, to come to the house to diagnose and try to fix the problem — to no avail. Tom, the service manager, came to the house the next day and confirmed that it was “dead” — no pun intended. Mr.Betit, I have been a customer for over 25 years. Today my husband called for oil delivery, we are on automatic delivery service. Karen was asking the appropriate questions for delivery of oil to our Swanzey house. Then she developed an attitude. Was rude,disrespectful, and unprofessional. Twards my husband . As a retired commercial construction project manager I'm very familiar with how much things should cost. Called Dead River today to schedule replacement of my failed propane water heater. Figuring in my head, project should be $700 new heater, $400 one man for half a day... $1100 total. What did Josh in Sales quote me...$3150!!!! Dead River is GOUGING unsuspecting customers.
