Excellent company. Great value. Friendly staff. I could not be happier about my decision to switch to Dead River for my propane.
We've had issues with 4 out of 5 deliveries. Each time, we are apologized to and the next time, nothing changes. They told us they always call the day before, and our account says to knock on the front door so we can make sure our dogs are secured, for delivery driver safety. Not only was this ignored, (on camera) they lied to my face and said they did. They stated they weren't sure anyone was home. Lights on, full driveway, both of us awake and active. Our furnace died on Sunday. First, Ryan braved the terrible snow storm and terrible driving conditions, not once but twice, to come to the house to diagnose and try to fix the problem — to no avail. Tom, the service manager, came to the house the next day and confirmed that it was “dead” — no pun intended. We agreed that a new furnace was needed but the problem was that we only had 3 days to order it, get it shipped and received, and then installed before we had to leave for a long-planned special trip. Mr.Betit, I have been a customer for over 25 years. Today my husband called for oil delivery, we are on automatic delivery service. Karen was asking the appropriate questions for delivery of oil to our Swanzey house. Then she developed an attitude. Was rude,disrespectful, and unprofessional. Twards my husband .
