What a great place! The smell of roasting coffee got us right at the door. Then the prompt, friendly/quirky service was great. Coffee of course was wonderful. Some gentlemen playing cribbage was a great scene too. Can't wait to go back!
This weekend was my first time at the roasters. It was wonderful. The young man and young lady working were very helpful. I chose the Brazil coffee to bring home, and it's amazing.

Simple, good, fresh roasted coffee. Best cup in Marquette! Dead River is a frequent stop for me to buy by the pound for my coffee loving friends. Keep up the good work!

I just spent a half hour trying to find a place here in Greensboro that offers a variety of fresh roasted coffee comparable, not equal just comparable, to Dead River Coffee. No luck on that so I visited the DRC page just to make myself feel better. Still among the best coffee places I've come across in any of the places I've lived. Lots of character, and great coffee.
