My husband and I unfortunately regret buying our DeYoung home. In the 1.5 years we’ve lived here, a minuscule mouse was able to chew a hole in the exterior stucco of our home from the inside, got stuck and died. Two extremely large wasp nests were found on the poorly sealed mantle on the archway leading up to our door (pest control advised the wasps should not have been able to create the entrance they did if the quality of the mantle/sealing work was done properly). Eric was very helpful showing us the model homes and the nearby amenities! I highly recommend scheduling an appointment a few days prior to visiting because it seemed to make the process smoother compared to our walk in visits with the other builders.
