Great time!!! – I came by DeNovo while walking cross town. I had a brazilian bikini it was a completely painless, quick and neat job. The person that did it was Ilona she is totally professional and made a unpleasant procedure into an easy one . During this process she explained to me about Le Grand Classic Yon-Ka facial. I tried it and it was the best facial I ever had. Ilona made a very nice extraction and face massage. I'm sure I'll come back to her soon. Highly recommended.
Terrible Experience – The owner of this salon is incompetent. She messed up my booking twice for a package I received as a gift and then tried to tell me that I had already received the services! The staff is very nice, but both times I went to redeem my package I had an unpleasant, less than relazing experience and in the end paid for services I never received.
CHEATS PEOPLE – both my sister and i were given queen for a day packages. We made an appt and showed up to find that the owner had booked too many people we agreed to get part of the package and come back another day. when we came back we showed her the certificates where she had written what was left of the package, she insisted that because she did not sign it we were lying. after we graciously agreed to come back another day she cheated us out of our treatments which had already been paid for. DON'T GO HERE!!!!!!
services – i am a very loyal customer of de novo and there is a reason why. i've tried almost every service they offer and find it outstanding, the prices are great and people who work in de novo are very knowlegable and pleasant. they do an AMAZING bikini wax, no matter who you go to - it's almost completely painless and always very fast. i suggested de novo to my friends and numberous of them became just as loyal as i am.
Best Couple Treatment – I came here with my boyfriend. This was gift from me to him on his B-Day, so I really wanted things to go well. It was a very romantic experience. The hot stone massage was unbelieavable, the grand classique yon ka facial, the best facial I have ever had. Besides giving great service, the staff was very helpful and attentive. My boyfriend and I were thrilled with the spa and would recommend this spa for a great, relaxing experience.
Not worth your time or money – I was looking forward to a relaxing facial, but ended up feeling like I was listening to a sales pitch while trying to unwind. The actual facial was average, but the woman tried to sell me products throughout the whole process! Once paying at the end, I was again accosted about all of the products that I needed and told to come back every few weeks. I would not recommend going to De Novo for a relaxing facial procedure!
Great Experience – I went to this spa on a Saturday with 2 of my other girlfiends. I really don't know what all the bad reviews are about. I have been to many spas here in the city and De Novo is truly to me a hidden jewel. When I came out of the spa I felt like a new woman. We all had a Queen for a day with a couple extras. Not Plush – The good stuff - very good at confirming our appt's, the small spa was organized and the staff was nice The annoying parts - the selling of products during our facials never ended, everything seemed to be "extra" including extractions, there were not any robes (a group of us had 3 hour packages) or a waiting room inbetween services, the music was distracting and annoying and the treatments ended much earlier than they were scheduled for. PERFECT 10! – De Novo Spa is where I come to pamper myself after a stressful day. Facials and massages are relaxing and rejuvenating and in my experience, this is the best place for waxing. I love the environment and always feel welcome and attended. Thank you. Michelle F.
