Dr De La Hunt refused to help his son , Mike De La Hunt, I contacted the Baptist Crisis hotline and told them that Dr Michael J De La Hunt would not help his son. My ex Dr De La Hunt, sent me a text message, stating to never call his work place again. No mention of how he was going to help our son.
Dr. DeLaHunt is fantastic. My only wish is that they could clone him and make it easier to get appointments. He is knowledgeable regarding complex diagnoses as well as effective medication treatments. He encourages patients to be part of the decision making process as they become older. We have been seeing him for over seven years; he is ethical and very intentional when prescribing medications. He is highly communicative with parents between appointments.
I do not recommend seeing Dr. Delahunt. He put me on 4mg/day of Klonopin at age 16 and overmedicated me on numerous drugs beforehand. I have lasting health effects that have greatly decreased my quality of life.
