I asked a loss prevention associate if the restroom was available, and after asking another associate, I was told no because there was no one back there. This was frustrating, as the associate could have easily walked to the back instead of denying access. The response also came across as rude and dismissive, which made the interaction uncomfortable. I understand policies may exist, but the situation could have been handled in a much more respectful and helpful way.
