I took my 318 block to D&D after another local shop messed up on the same lifter bore 3 times. Dave and David were extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Not only did they fix the lifter bore, but they went the extra mile to go over the whole block and ended up fixing a few other mistakes made by the previous shop. They were more than willing to explain things that I didn't know. And they did the whole thing for free. D&D made a very long and stressful process a lot less long and stressful. We had D & D hot tank and bore our engine block, and the cylinder head had just about everything done that could be. Valves and guides, valve seats, stud threads renewed. These guys did everything our tired engine needed. their work was accurate and professionally done! We were impressed! The tolerances are factory correct, it's beautiful workmanship. Worst machine shop work I ever seen, over priced, lied about what the did, dirty, corroded, full of excuses, no responsibility for what they did, total ripoff, I have to have everything re done on my block. Tried to buy a tire at the shop next door, they made a big scene, instructed their tenant to refuse service..

I had some tappets that needed to be bled, Thanks so much for doing it immediately. I needed shims for my tappets, you suggested some metal strapping, I ended up using some old feeler gauges
