Probably one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. The fries were good, and the fried onions were decent. The beers, however, were disappointing. One thing I didn’t understand was that the night before, we weren’t allowed to eat inside even though the restaurant was still open. I’m not sure why, but it was confusing. Aside from that, the food was excellent.
We went for Brisket. We tried the platter - smoked wings, ribs, brisket. All were great. Sides are the question. I thought someone was trying a new recipe with mac&cheese and collard greens. The Beans were great. I did hear that the Other sides were also great. The service was / is one of the reasons I will return. It was great.
We stopped in tonight on a whim and were blown away with not only the flavor of all (and I mean all) the food, but the portion sizes, prices, and especially the welcoming and friendly staff. The gentleman who welcomed us and took our order went above and beyond to help us choose and gave us the best suggestions.
