It will be worth your time and health to go to a different plasma center. This place isn't clean and the staff does not care if they waste your time. The facility is poorly managed and most of the staff is incompetent. The atmosphere is also strange, there is a security guard who is under them impression that he is a jailer and you are an inmate.
I just started donating plasma at DCI and I feel like the staff has been informative and so postive with my status and situation as a Austinite. I really enjoy all the music inspired artist paintings all along the walls as well. Thanks for compensating me for my donations while I search for a career DCI, really makes all the difference!
HHHMMMM.......where should I start, well I have been going to DCI for about four months at first I felt everyone was freindly per my first two visits after becoming a regular I noticed how sometimes the place was not sanitized from the bathrooms to the back where the beds are located for you to sit in and donate, I have on several occassions came in to donate plasma and where they are going to sit me it had blood from the previous donor which is a very high risk of catching something from being in contact with someone elses ... read more
