My younger son worked with Sylvia for speech and executive functioning skills for 2 years. She is the best. My Pre-K son was struggling with sounds which caused a lot of frustration on his part and ours. After working with Sam, his communication has greatly improved and we can all understand each other much better. It’s been a life saver and really cut down on meltdowns. My older son also has a lot of anxiety over starting tasks, especially homework. While he’s only had a couple of sessions with Sam, he already has a couple tools now to help him get started without tears. Looking forward to a calmer kid this school year.

Wonderful SLP practice that helped my daughter gain confidence in her reading. She said reading class was more fun than summer camp and the proof is in the pudding- she's reading independently and says she loves to read. Totally worth the investment.

We are so grateful a referral led us to Amanda’s DC Speech Language & Literacy Center. Our child got matched with an excellent speech therapist and has made great progress. Amanda & the tutor are consistently responsive and invested. It’s a relief for me and my husband to trust that our kid is in good hands and getting the help they need.
