We are so lucky to have found DC speech language & literacy center for our son. They were kind and welcoming from the get go - assessing him quickly and helping us to find a convenient time to work on his speech weekly. We can see huge improvements and recommend their services to all of our friends and neighbors.
We have worked with Jayna at DC Speech for over three years now, supporting my son's challenges with dyslexia and dysgraphia - he graduated 5th grade with honors, and we are proud to say the partnership with Jayna was a huge contributing factor to that academic outcome. Jayna has continued to introduce responsive and interesting exercises to their sessions, she makes them fun and relevant. She is by far his favorite teacher and always looks forward to his sessions with her.

My five year old worked with Sylvia to deal with a speech issue, and she was able to correct it in just a few months. Just as important given his age, he had a blast and looked forward to every session. Sylvia was fun, warm, and clearly effective.
I had a wonderful experience with DC Speech. Amanda, the owner, promptly responded to my initial inquiry, and she thoroughly answered my questions and explained the process during our intake call. I was able to schedule an evaluation quickly. Our evaluator was Sylvia, who immediately put my son at ease and ensured he was comfortable during the evaluation.
