RecommendedI have never had a better dental experience than in this dental office - everyone from the receptionists to the hygienists to the dentist were so friendly, helpful, and pleasant. Dr. Derek was very thorough and patient in both his examination of my daughter, and his explanations of the x-rays and treatment plan to me. Even the decors of the office are beautiful, thoughtful, and calming. I wish they took adult patients! 😃
First of all, the office is beautiful. But more importantly, everyone who works there is very kind and thorough. A huge improvement over our last dental office! Excellent communication all around. Dr. Blank caught some dental issues that our previous dentist didn’t see. He also went out of his way to help us out when we had a dental emergency last fall. He even texted us after hours to check on our son. Top notch!
Initially, I tried out DC Pediatric Smiles with my youngest for his first dentist appointment. The staff was so amazing and Dr. Blank has a wonderful way with kids. The visit went so well I almost cried. If you've ever had a terrible dentist visit with your child, you know what I'm talking about! I immediately booked both my kids for the next appointment. Could not be more impressed from the entire experience, EVERY time we go!!! From the welcoming women at the front, inviting space, and mostly Dr Blank who makes both toddlers and parents at ease. As a working mother of two, I’m also grateful for their hours of operation, as well as their multiple forms of reminders! Thank you to this great time - I RARELY take time to do surveys and reviews, but felt so compelled after my experience today :).
As always, the entire team at DC Pediatric Smiles is wonderful. Our little girl had her second appointment and she came out beaming and said, “Mommy, I had fun!” They know how to cater to kids with fun and patience. They even took a pretend x-ray of her stuffed toy to put her at ease to get her z-rays done. As always, a fantastic experience!

Took my 1 year old for her first check up! The place looks amazing, and the staff is wonderful starting from the front desk staff, the staff that attends you inside, to Dr. Blank. What I loved is that Sydney was so friendly, and allowed my little one to be independent and part of the visit while helping her pick out stuff for her baggy. My son had his first trip to the dentist today at DC Pediatric Smiles. The entire staff was so kind and welcoming to my 2.5 year old. Elsy got us settled, and Sarah was our hygienist. They both took the time to engage my son to make him feel comfortable. We finished our visit by seeing Dr. Blank. Highly recommend!
The staff at DC Pediatric Smiles were wonderful. This was my daughters first dentist visit and she was very scared, but who wouldn’t be. The staff (receptionist, dental hygienist, and doctors) all went out of their way to make sure my daughter was as comfortable as she could be. They gave her a “goody/toy bag” as a reward for being a “good patient” which really helped. The flat screen TV’s with Netflix really helped distract my daughter during the exam.
