I recently moved to DC and I needed a new chiropractor. I made an appointment with Dr. Lichter after seeing good reviews. I called and mentioned he is an approved provider on my insurance. ONCE I GOT THERE, he tells me that unless you have one specific insurance, he makes you pay upfront and then you have to submit paperwork to your insurance to get reimbursed!!!!! I see Dr. Alan Lichter on a regular basis and always enjoy/value my visit. Having been to several chiropractors (also have family in the field), I can say that Dr. Lichter is very knowledgeable and passionate about Chiropractic and its holistic health benefits. Dr. Alan Lichter is absolutely wonderful, and I highly recommend you make him your go-to chiropractor in the DMV! He is attentive, thorough, professional, and truly cares about your wellbeing. I work a 9-5 and therefore have very limited availability to make appointments, this initially posed an issue because the consultation appointment is longer than the usual adjustments, meaning that I was concerned there would not be enough time to fit me in for my consultation.
