I trust they adhere to a high level of DBT Treatment and are my #1 referral source for DBT Groups, both for adolescents and adults, in San Diego. I’ve been attending DBT Center of San Diego for about 6 months and have appreciated their help. I work with Shannon as my individual therapist and she is the most kind and helpful therapist I’ve had. Her techniques and strategies have been extremely helpful for me. She’s very easy to talk to and offers great solutions and guidance in times of need. Group sessions with Dr. Orma and Dr. Cara have also been effective! Definitely recommend this place to anyone that would like to get into DBT therapy :)
Most effective work I have done yet for trauma and I have been working diligently on my mental health since I was teenager. I worked with Milton and Amanda and cannot say enough great things. I learned a lot of helpful applicable skills and practiced trauma exposure with Milton, that was incredibly instrumental in a very difficult period. Highly recommend this work!!
