I lived with DBC from 2009 - 2010 and had a very positive experience. Every time I had to interact with the office staff they were very professional and courteous. The apartment was in excellent condition when we moved in and any maintenance issues we had were handled very quickly. After we moved out we received our security back minus the charges that were stated in the lease and a charge for a blind our dog destroyed. To anyone looking to rent in southern Columbia I highly recommend DBC.

If you have a pet, don t bother coming here. We were in our apartment for 6 months. Our dogs did not damage nor leave any kind of stain or odor in the apartment. They were bathed regularly, and were indoor dogs, and any mess that was ever made was cleaned immediately. After paying a \$300 pet deposit, an additional \$200+ was taken out of our deposit we got back because of the privilege of having a pet. Nice apartment, Nice service, BUT I was ripped off at the end. They did not come to inspection when I was leaving for overseas, so when I received bond money I just got 20 or 30 USD! They had charged me all my bond money in removing stains in carpet (which did not exist) and fixing other things. I would not recommend DBC to anybody.
PLEASE LISTEN TO THESE COMMENTS. The main contact for this office is a lady. She is rude and finds anyway to apply the rules. She will bend them, and find any justification to apply them. Besides taking your money for cleaning and the entire deposit they will apply a maintence fee for any assistance which is a normal service there should be no charge. A terrible landlord. My daughters leased an apartment there and it was spotless when they left. DBC kept the entire security deposit and demanded even more money. Among other things, they claim that they have a "right" to charge over \$300 for basic cleaning costs, no matter how clean you leave the place. Internet and cable service -- provided by the landlord -- was perpetually malfunctioning. You can do much better.
Do not rent from DBC! The guy above was right that they are very prompt about fixing things, but I dont think its worth it at all. The units are so overpriced such prompt service damn well better be included in the rent (which goes up every year.) DO Not rent from Dbc!!!! They are over priced cheaply made apartments. Rent goes up every year and they are a bunch of crooks. We moved in to a flea infested apartment and they would do nothing to fix it. The office people are very unfriendly. Lastly, they have it set up where there is no chance of getting your depsit back because it goes towards "cleaning"the dirty apartments!
