A truly mixed experience, which is perhaps the most disappointing kind. The pizza itself is serviceable—a solid three stars on its own merit. It's what you hope for in a neighborhood spot: decent crust, adequate toppings, nothing to write home about, but certainly not bad. However, my meal was followed by a significant bout of foodborne illness, which is an immediate red flag for any kitchen.
