Billing department is breaking federal law by trying to balance bills after insurance payment where it is prohibited. Billing department continues this practice after months of coordination between insurance and department. Will call attorney general if not resolved.
The billing department is clearly against busy, working parents. They don't send bills in a timely manner, send you to collections without warning, then penalize you for paying your bills. I did the right thing and paid a bill in full but forgot to ask about a discount for full payment. I immediately called to ask about the discount and they said, "No nothing we can do. Sent me to collections for $57 from a January 2023 service while we have insurance and it should’ve been covered fully and they should’ve had our insurance as we’ve been there several times after that date with no bill.
This place should be in trouble for constantly sending people to collections without a warning. Not a single bill in the mail just straight to collections. Tack my payments on to my already $5,000 bill we pay on every month. Make it make sense
