The man that checked us in was wonderful. But the other guy that was indian (and no im not racist) yelled and my 7 uear old because she waisted her waffle the day before. Then he looks threw the trash after a person leaves the dining room. Ill pay the extera and stay else where next time.
THEY DO NOT CHANGE THEIR SHEETS AFTER EACH CHECK-OUT!!!!! it was clear that someone had slept in each bed. There was quarter sized stains, each pillow had 1 side where there was hair and you could see and smell the oil from dirty hair. Luckily we had brought our own sheets because we were going camping. We checked in very late at night and we were exhausted. Yes it's dated but I seriously do not understand people writing bad reviews on this place I mean the idea of a days Inn is dated so what do you expect? The room was clean and comfy. Breakfast was a lifesaver after 2 days in a car with 2 very sick of it kids. The customer service was top notch by all the staff all the way around. In fact even the domino's guys awesome. This place is dirty rooms smelled so bad it literary made me sick. We had 2 dogs with us so we had a pet friendly room.. OMG pee stains all over the carpet room smelled like a tolit. Went to front desk to ask them to PLEASE do something about the smell. The man got all pissy cause I disturbed him. What a BUTT HOLE HE IS... DO NOT STAY HERE IT'S NASTY.. Never again. Could have paid a extra 30.00 and had a clean hotel.
While in between homes (lease ended on one while lease started on another a few days later) both the overnight gentlemen and the one during the day were very hospitable and courteous. Anyone looking for a room in Chambersburg would be a fool to not consider Days Inn.
I really liked the guy working at the desk. He was friendly and helpful. We had a room on the first floor for pets. The rug was stained and it smelled. We couldn't sleep because of the odor and left at 1:25 in the morning. Even the dog couldn't settle in because of the odor.
Car broke down right past chambersburg, I came in all stressed out and flustered with my six year old and our dog!!! The gentlemen quickly got us a room, and he was so Patient with me!! I have to admit my dog does not like being alone in strange places and he has barked a lot with me having too leave the room and not one person has complained and the front desk said "it's no problem... Dogs bark" I feel bad but there is nothing I can do!! I would stay here again without hesitation
