Great staff professional and friendly
The receptionist when we got there was friendly and nice. The room smelled and looked fine. The breakfast was nothing fancy but good. The only thing was the people walking around the parking lot at all hours of the night.
AVOID THIS HOTEL AT ALL COSTS! I mistakenly booked this hotel and couldn't regret it more. It's in one of the worst areas of Merced (I know because I grew up here and lived here recently). The owners have renovated the hotel, but it's still frequented by tweakers. They charge a $200 CASH deposit up front -- that's $200 deposit PER ROOM -- in addition to the cost of the room, even if you pay for the room with a credit card and even though the rooms cost less than $100 to rent. The room is clean, new, looks like just renovated recently.
Only thing that would be nice is if you added refrigerator to the rooms other than that 4 stars
