We booked this motel last minute on hotels . com and I really wasn't expecting much but this place is bad, it seems to be booked up to max capacity which would explain being unable to find a parking spot, and also explain all the people hanging around outside. It's right off the interstate (I-10) but it's difficult to get to anyways from the interstate. The room I stayed in smelled like a really old, musty house that hadn't been aired out in years. When I awoke in the middle of the night, the pungent smell hit my nostrils and quickly reminded me where I was sleeping! The light fixture in the tiny bathroom appeared to be the original one (from 30 years ago) that has since yellowed. This made the lighting extremely dim and colored the room a dingy amber color.
