The workers were very friendly and attentive. The room was clean a little rundown. Rust all over the shower bar, wallpaper peeling a bit in the corners. The ceiling in the bathroom looked rough but was painted over. The beds super uncomfortable and hard family of 4 all woke up sore some not sleeping much at all. Three nights away, great location, close to food and shopping. The Inn is being renovated, our room was complete all great.. Parking at door. The staff were very professional and knowledgeable and front desk people were very well dressed also
my sister pulled her nail off and when we went to the front desk there was not a single person there. for 10 minutes until we looked up and seen two men sitting on the cameras in the laundry room floor doing absolutely nothing. phones were going off like crazy and no one heard a single thing.
Surprised how low this hotel is rated given the price and location. Yes it has issues, the breakfast was very lite, the hotel is dated (they are updating it), and the HVAC also needs updating, but given the price, how great the staff are, and the extras I don't know what else you would want. Kingston is a shockingly expensive town for hotels, and this one is always the cheapest. Its also right off the highway, for travelers a lot of other hotels its a 30 min round trip off the hwy.
