Days inn saved the day. It was parents weekend for IUP and my stepbrothers wedding. My stepdad booked the wrong dates so we were scrambling to find a place to stay and a place to check into early enough to get ready for the wedding. Not only did days inn have a room but they let us check in very early so we could get ready for the wedding! They saved the whole trip.
It is a good hotel deteriorating.
In a pinch - it worked for the price (rest sold out). First room - running toilet that cycled every 30 seconds. Second room was not good enough - window was concerning (see photo). All said - on par for brand. The front desk was better than most. In typical fashion (not just this property) I book 3rd party - its amazing how often ONLY the accessible rooms are available.
Definitely wish I had listened to some of the negative reviews. Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in, especially considering that it wasn’t even cheap. The floors were dirty, hair all over the bathroom (literally disgusting around the toilet area), sink drain was broken, sheets didn’t fit the bed at all (tried to use queen sheets on a king bed), AC was noisy, etc. The worker (Darnell) was extremely rude and unprofessional.
