Smokey J's Four P's Review: Price: 5/5. Good value for the quality received. Shows its age but clean and friendly. Hallways narrow but who cares. Pantry: 2/5. Breakfast was very basic with only bagels and cold cereal. The best thing about the coffee was that it was free. pH: 3/5. Water was very soft. Still not sure if I've rinsed all the soap off. More a result of local water supply than under the hotel's control. Patio: 5/5. Uncovered smoking area includes seating and an outdoor table.
I stayed here with my son on a recent wedding trip. The hotel was fine. The curtains aren't blackout curtains, so it gets light early. The rooms are nice enough but ours wasn't particularly quiet. The upper floors are walk up only.
