I had a two-night reservation, but this turned into a nightmare due to the hotel’s gross negligence and lack of integrity. The Incident: Due to a flight cancellation on Day 1, I contacted the hotel in advance. I explicitly requested that they NOT cancel my entire booking as a "No Show." Firstly, I got to the hotel after booking AND PAYING in advance on hotels.com. After check in I was informed of a $50 deposit charged to my card. That would be refunded in 1-2 days after my checkout. That was Saturday, it’s now late Tuesday and no deposit return. It seems pretty crappy that nowhere on either hotels.com or Days Inns sites does it mention this deposit. We paid for a king online but they gave us a queen, the room had a strange smell and the bed feels itchy...
I wanna start that my FIRST ROOM was dirty had trash behind the bed and the couch and the fridge was dirty n freezer and the microwave had no glass to even work to turn and the SECOND ROOM smelled like weed and the bathroom was nasty I had to clean the toilet myself and the shower the floors in bathroom was dirty and the couch had a vape in it so they failed to even clean the couch out.
