The Doctor itself is not bad; the staff is the worst you can ever imagine. Good luck getting a referral; it will take months; the staff literally is very mean and they don't care. Please save yourself a headache and find a different doctor. I will never recommend them to any one.
Go here if you want to be scheduled at 3, and have to wait til 4:44 to talk to the doctor. They do this every single time.
Dr. Daya is a kind and caring dr. However his staff undermines his reputation, you have to make multiple calls just to get a rx refilled, they never check their fax machine and are rude on the phone, for a long-term patient this unacceptable, my husband's medicine states he should not lapse or possible consequences,even when you call the office a week ahead they still cannot get this together and I feel they do not care about his health, and are rude. We will look elsewhere for better care.
I recommend Dr. Daya because the service is always excellent. He remembers you and is truly concerned about your needs. He doesn't push medication on you, he would rather have you try a change in lifestyle (for instancevof obesity or high blood pressure) than writing a script. I appreciate that.
This doctor does not listen to your concerns. Then they take forever to get back to you on what you need to do to get well. I am still feeling terrible and they have my results but aren't looking at them, yet the nurse said. I feel horrible. I have to work. I need to know what to do.
It took 2-months to get my referrals to other doctors. When she did it was a quick call where she rambled off names and phone numbers that I could barely hear. I had called several times trying to get the referrals as I needed more advanced care. I had a serious fall which caused swelling and extensive bruising. I was sent for X=Rays and now it is 6 days later and I am still waiting for the Dr. Daya to read the x-rays and let me know if broken knee or a tear in my muscle. Still waiting!
