We had a beautiful wedding! The building is rustic and looks beautiful at night with candles and up lighting. We had 3 different day block event coordinators during our wedding planning. So at times we were reminding the event planner about seating charts, lighting choices, catering choices several times. We were a little nervous that something would be wrong or missing. Great venue with beautiful views of downtown Minneapolis.
I attended an event there with upcoming country artist Drake White . The building has an old rustic feel and very beautiful. Only downside.. one stall in each bathroom.. Otherwise a very enjoyable evening
I am a Wedding Officiant and I performed a spectacular wedding here. This place is the epitome of hipster coolness! It is "dripping" with urban chicness. Perfect location, perfect atmosphere, perfect staff, and perfect facilities. You will be "in" with the "in crowd" if you have your event here. Awesome location and we loved the staff too. March 21 we had a headshot/ social event at Day Block Brewing and everyone had fun. The photos turned out GREAT too. I highly recommend it.
We hosted our wedding reception at Day Block on 11/18/17 and the day was stunning! We hired our own bartender and caterer and the space worked perfectly - we utilized the South room for our bar area and hosted our taco bar in the East room corner by the North room. We also purchased our own alcohol for the evening, which we highly recommend for some good savings.
