Overall, I give D&L a solid B or 3.5 stars. This was our first new build experience and was overall good. Particularly compared to what we'd seen and heard of others' experiences. We are happy with the house, but I might not choose them again in future. Pros: - We were allowed to mostly select what we wanted. Really fantastic! - I had heard lots of horror stories from others who went through the process of having a new home built about delays and how they never really trusted their builder. Our experience could not have been better. Mark and Dean are pros who know their stuff and were very transparent about costs and schedule throughout the whole process. We are nearing the end of our project with Dawson Lupul Builders (DLB). We are currently in the punch phase and our experience has been positive throughout the entire project so far. DLB remodeled the entire 1st floor of our house plus some of the 2nd floor. The 1st floor included the kitchen, master bathroom, powder room, new floors throughout, new light fixtures, surround sound, ethernet wiring, HVAC improvement, and a new railing. I have known Mark and Dean for many years. I bought a condo from them in 2013 and it was one of the best decisions I have ever made. I love my home. It is small(ish) but they did a fantastic job utilizing every square inch and the finishes they chose make it seem very high end.

Our designer recommended Dawson Lupul Builders because she thought they would be a good working match with our family. We were frustrated after interviewing contractor after contractor because no one was very transparent regarding fees and expectations. Dean and Mark were both great to work with. Mark handles most of the organizational project management and financial. Dean walks you through all the vendors and ordering of fixtures/appliances/etc. They were upfront and honest about the work needed to done and let us know the... read more

Everyone at Dawson Lupul was great to work with! Mark and Dean did a great job guiding us through the building process and offered great feedback and direction on finish out options. Randy was a terrific construction supervisor who really cared that we had a well built home. Overall, the experience was a pure joy. If we ever build another home, Dawson Lupul will be our builder!

Dawson Lupul Builders was a fantastic experience. Dean, Mark and team did a wonderful job steering me through the renovation/almost complete re-build of my house. Helped me make proper financial decisions where it makes sense yet encouraged me to do things that make my house mine. They have also been great on any follow up work to make sure that even post move in the entire experience is enjoyable. I would and have recommended them to friends.

Mark and Dean were wonderful to work with - truly professional in all aspects. The remodel of both washrooms was done to our specifications using all the new materials we had researched and sourced. We truly enjoyed working with the majority of the sub-contractors and felt they took pride in their craftsmanship and the satisfaction of their customers. They were a great reflection of the values that Dawson-Lupul holds. We are thrilled with their work and the resulting beautiful bathrooms we get to enjoy!
