Very rude, acts like he doesn't want to be there.
Recommendedawesome that they are helping out during this time of crisis. great that they are saving needed masks /ppe for healthcare workers AND giving them discounts!!! They even stayed open later when I was trying to make it in before closing time!!
my son and granddaughters were in there and were treated very very poorly. I don't know if the owner is racist or not but from the way they were treated it seems as it is so. if someone has to feel good by treating some little girls the way they were treated in there I feel sorry for you
I have used this store periodically through the past 10 years. I have always received knowledgeable and helpful service. I am a female that has not done a lot of home repair, but they have willingly helped me as much as possible every time. Even to putting pieces together and showing me how they should fit that I had not bought there!
husband went it today to get some tiny screws and needed a tiny thread piece, this idiot couldn't even help him. the owner laughed in my husband face and said well that's just an old light and had a smirk on his face. well idiot i want you to know, we have a lighting business and i sell those old porch lights has you said, which happen to be pure copper for 200.00 a piece. no wonder they lost the name ace hardware and it returned to Dawson hardware. no one in the area likes the place! i would rate this place a big fat zero! ... read more

This is a small town hardware store, so yes - they have less variety. However, the staff is always available and happy to assist no matter how many items you're trying to find and whether you know what they're actually called. I love supporting small business!
