I just had an email exchange with one of their recruiters....and it was a disaster! I am older...retired early from my career of public service. Don't bother even applying for them if you have education [i.e., college degree or even a Pluralsight and/or Udemy CERT) even in the field they are hiring for. They want unskilled labor and that it. If you don't get turned down by their supposed [undisclosed meaning of] "not enough recent experience," they will use their skills assessment test to say you didn't score in [quote], "in the range their clients are looking for." I have been very disappointed in my experience with Dawson. I had my "interview" with them towards the end of July. The recruiter assured me that with my experience I wouldn't have any issues finding something. I didn't hear anything from my recruiter for the first 3-4 weeks after meeting so I checked in with her via email. She sent me an email detailing out a position and asked if I would be interested in it. I told her I would be and never heard anything back. I just found out you have to have 500 hrs. Between holidays or you don't get paid for the holiday. That works out to be 40hrs a week for six months. The problem is there aren't six months between the holidays. Even after working 5 years for atrium. Dawson takes over and screws you out of any thing they can. DO NOT SIGN ON WITH THIS COMPANY!!! Unless you want to get screwed!!!!!
