It wasn't a total loss; the placement I secured led to a direct hire and I love my current job. But working with Dawson is an absolute pain, and prospective job hunters should keep in mind that Dawson doesn't care about you. You are their product, not their client or employee. Margie is top notch to work with
Dawson is unprofessional and a condensing group. Customers or clients should not do business with them. I requested a manager they hung up on me.
I spoke with Bernadette H. and she asked me for an updated resume. Basically I got told I wasn't very qualified and it's her job to find "qualified" people. I then asked for HER supervisor to contact me because she was being offensive with her responses and tone... she directs me to the HR department. Unacceptable communication, once there is a problem they just refuse to help you. They will change the terms of your contracted assignment without notifying you. Reception is friendly but not empowered to provide much of a resolution.
I guess I should have read the terrible reviews becore I went online amd assumed they could actually do their job and assist in helping me secure employment. I have called, sent emails, applied online, sent notices online, and even went in to the office to drop off my resume, but there has been absolutely no communication in return whatsoever. What kind of business are they supposed to be running? Embarassing!
Stay away from this agency. The recruiter I was working didn't have the decency to let me know that I wasn't selected for a position. I was in touch with him on a weekly basis and he promised to update me whether I was selected or not. It's now 4/10/18, it seems he has blocked my number as I have just tried to call and hasn't responded back to a voicemail I left over a week ago.
