She was always compassionate and willing to help.
Treats 100% by the labs but won't look at the labs as a whole. If any one number is out of line, she throws a pill at it. She doesn't even consider diet or lifestyle. She is the stereo-typical big pharma doctor. Mindset is stuck 20 years in the past.
Dr Simala was always in a rush and didn’t seem to really care about my health issues. She could also be rude for no reason.
Dr. Simala has treated 3 generations of my family. She is a true Family doctor. She always listens and she promotes patient education. She is responsive to requests and listens well.
I did not care for Dr. Simala. She never talked to me as a person, all she ever talked to me about were my labs. That is how she treats, by the labs. She didn't ask and didn't now anything about me and life and it could have given her a lot of insight into some of my issues. She was always in a rush and if I had questions she was gone before I could ask them. Not a fan.
I’ve been seeing Dr. Simala for a few years now, though I’m thinking about seeking a new provider because I’m not a fan of the clinic she’s at. I always good wait times at Miami rd and the staff was always friendly. One thing, I had an issue with is she was very quick to prescribe medications vs discussing alternatives.
She has been my doctor for 15 years. She is thorough compassionate and caring I highly recommend her! Her office has even called to check up on me during medicine changes or Health issues that could take a turn for the worse. She is dedicated to her patients

I have recommended Dr. Simala to several of my friends and family members. She is knowledgeable, asks good questions and also give excellent explanations. She doesn't jump to conclusions about any condition and will explore different options as necessary. I always receive test results the same day and her staff does an excellent job!
